The Inka writing app does not generate, rewrite, or continue a sentence. If you searched for a free AI writer, this is the other request: a place to write where nothing writes back.

Two searches wear the same words

"AI free writing app" often means a writing app that uses AI and costs nothing. "A writing app that doesn't use AI" means the opposite. This page is the second one.

Inka has no chatbot, no "continue this paragraph" button, and no model call on the text you type. The room, the sounds, and the timer are the product. The sentences are not.

The underline is a dictionary, not a model

A typo check is on by default. After a sentence settles, a word that is not in the dictionary gets a dotted underline. You tap it to see a fix. The dictionary is on your device. Checking it does not send the sentence anywhere.

There is a second switch, Suggest tighter wording. It is off unless you turn it on. It offers style notes, not a rewrite, and it also runs on the device. It does not produce a new sentence for you to accept.

Inka does not read your writing to train anything. The privacy policy is the long version. The short version is on the facts page.

How to write in it when you are avoiding generators

  1. Open the app and start the piece. There is no prompt box asking a model to begin.
  2. If you want a clock, use a block of 25 minutes or the sprint timer on this site, which is only a clock.
  3. Leave Suggest tighter wording off if you do not want notes. The dictionary underline can stay; it flags spellings, not style.
  4. Export when you are done. Nothing in the export step adds text.

If you want a model to draft the page, Inka is the wrong app on purpose.

Questions

Does Inka have a hidden AI writing feature?

No. There is no generator, no rewrite, and no chat on the text.

Does the spellcheck send my sentence to a server?

No. The dictionary is on the device. The check does not make a network request for the words.

Will my draft be used to train a model?

No. Inka does not read the manuscript for that, and unsigned writing stays on the device.

What if I wanted a free AI writer?

That is a different product. This page will not help you generate a draft.
